After graduating from Millersville University in 1984, Don began his career in sales. He then worked for a period of years in the Medical equipment field. In 1994, Don formed his own medical equipment company in rehabilitation and respiratory equipment. One of the products Don sold since 1994 was stairlifts. He then decided in 2004 to concentrate solely on stairlifts sales.
